HMS Mobility Solutions Ltd is a family run and owned private company which was established in November 2008 by Garry Hellings (former Ottobock Mobility Business Manager). Garry suffered a stroke (age 45) on a business flight to Northern Ireland whilst working at Ottobock and after correctly being diagnosed with Antiphospolipid Syndrome (Hughes Syndrome) he decided to utilise his wealth of product knowledge and experience and started his own specialist mobility business covering Somerset, Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, Bristol, South Wales, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Cornwall.
Garry's eldest daughter Kirstie joined the family business taking care of the admin and soon became factory trained on the paediatric side of the business. Garry's wife Sarah also joined the business taking care of accounts, buying and customer services.
